gene and I are going to surf blackies in newport on sunday. later in the evening he (possibly we) will be at the surfing heritage gallery in the mall in Irvine. he is having a little get together recognizing the close of his Feb. Calendar board. look us up.

everyone needs a calendar. gene's 2010 COOPERFISH calendar is easy on the eyes. buy one tomorrow and see some INSANE boards. the surfing heritage is an organization all of us should care about.  

The light.

The Surfing Heritage has this picture on their site. This picture is beautiful. The light...both kinds of light....the kind the sun makes and the kind a feather has.

board swap!!!

I went to this board swap thing today in the parking lot of the surfing heritage building here in san clemente. I didn't have my where with all about me, else i would have brought a camera. I did have my phone, hence the grainy shots. I spoke with Bill Zahne about that insane bing of his that Jim Phillips helped restore. That board is shocking up close.
