old velzy

i received an email in regards to placing a value on this old board. i responded with what i thought it was worth.  ultimately a board, like all things,  is worth what someone is willing to pay. it seems to my eye this board has a veneer stringer, so that puts in in a class of Velzy's different than other velzys (with out said veneer stringers). anyway, y'all got any ideas about it's worth? andrew...jim...any thing?

    yeah steiny, I hear you on the pop out. I'm hoping jim or Andrew will have some info regarding who and when it was shaped.
